If God is real, then why do bad things happen? This question has echoed through the depths of my soul, resonating with the doubts and struggles many of us face.
I confess, I’ve wrestled with it myself, tormented by uncertainty and pain. But as I journey along a new path with Christ, I’ve come to realize that questioning doesn’t diminish faith; rather, it deepens it.
The journey of faith is often fraught with trials and tribulations. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and abandoned, to wonder if our prayers are falling on deaf ears.
I know the agony of battling through life’s challenges, of feeling like every effort is in vain.
But amidst the chaos and confusion, there’s a truth we must embrace: this world was never meant to be our final destination
And also, another thing to accept as believers, this life was never made to make us comfortable or satisfied,
this is not the place where we were made to grasp the full glory of God, this life we are living now is not the end, the story continues.
We are but travellers passing through, tasked with nurturing our spirits and learning eternal lessons.
Perhaps you may be in a season of your life where life is throwing you blows from left to right and it seems like no matter what you try or do, nothing seems to be working
And when you cry out to God, you feel like He’s abandoned you and won’t give you a solution any faster, but here are some key things to remember;
Psalm 34:19 reminds us that even the righteous face trials, yet the Lord delivers them from every adversity.
Our struggles serve to strengthen our faith, to remind us of God’s unwavering presence amidst the storm.
It’s natural to question God’s ways in the face of suffering. We may wonder why He allows pain and hardship to exist if He is truly compassionate.
But faith isn’t about easy answers or instant solutions; it’s about trusting in God’s sovereignty, even when life seems unjust.
Jesus Himself experienced the depths of human suffering, enduring agony on the cross to redeem mankind.
He understands our pain intimately, offering comfort and hope in the midst of our trials. While our emotions may fluctuate, God’s truth remains steadfast.
We must not measure God’s existence by our feelings or circumstances but by the unchanging reality of His love and grace.
And while we are in the midst of those questions, let us remember that the spirit man in us doesn’t grow without trails whether we would like them or not.
The purpose of trails on this earth is to let us know that there is a God who saves and is stronger than our problems.
You will never know God as a believer if you haven’t been under the fire or problems and torments of this world
But rest assured that as long as you live a life that is pleasing to God you will never have to face any of these when you go be with the Lord.
Colossians 4:6 urges us to let our words be seasoned with grace, for truth withstands the test of time.
One thing to know is that what is true will always be tested. As rightfully so, we all want a sense of feel to God’s presence in our lives, a glorious touch during worship as tears roll down our face as we pray and glorify Him,
While that is wonderful when it happens, it should not be the standard that we must place God in because with or without that moment
God is still present when we pray, even though there is evil in this world and it causes pain in our lives, God is still good.
The presence of evil in the world doesn’t negate God’s goodness; rather, it highlights the consequences of humanity’s choices.
God grants us free will, allowing us to choose between love and hate, peace and conflict. Yet even in our brokenness, God extends His hand of mercy, gesturing us to embrace His love.
God doesn’t wish evil and harm on anyone, but rather, He wants to prove to us the despite of the negative emotions that life throws at us, He is able to use them to show us who He truly is in the midst of all of it.
Choosing God and a holy spirit led life should not be attached with emotions but rather, a knowing that in spite of everything we are facing and still to face, He is still the great I AM
Ultimately, our true home awaits us in eternity.
Acts 14:22 reminds us that hardship is the path to the kingdom of God.
While our earthly journey may be fraught with trials, heaven awaits us with open arms, offering eternal peace and joy.
During the cost of this season, I have come across a few near-death experience videos.
While so personal to each person’s experience the universal language you hear from them all is that “when I reached heaven, I felt like I belonged and that I WAS HOME”.
Heaven is a beautiful place and we have a choice on whether we want to go back to it or not based on the life we live here on earth.
Taking a blessed assurance that one day all the troubles we are facing will be no more, that all our storms and questions will be placed at the feet of Jesus for the taking in exchange of eternity and forever peace and joy.
So, while we are on earth let us be strong to know that we came to represent the home to which we come from, from how we interact, accomplish and overcome the hinderances of the enemy.
Heaven also awaits us with loved ones that have left us who were in Christ before their passing here on earth, and this time we shall reunite forever with no pain no tears and no suffering, just pure bliss.
So, as we navigate the storms of life, let us cling to the hope of heaven, knowing that our struggles are but a fleeting moment in the grand tapestry of eternity.
Let us live each day with purpose and conviction, representing the love and grace of our heavenly home.
And when the trials of this world threaten to overwhelm us, let us find solace in the promise of a future where every tear will be wiped away, and pain will be no more.

I so needed this article today. Thank you for sharing this with the world. I love how you so beautifully captured the Christian journey. The fact that if we focus on God and put him first that everything else will fall into place. Even in the valley, he is there with us.
